KENP - Amazon KDP nightmare: Less and less benefits for authors

Each time Amazon change the KDP program,  the money paid per ebook is getting lower and lower.
At the beginning of the program Amazon payment was 2 dollars, then 1.3 dollars and now 0.01 cents per page (KENP).

And if the customer read all the ebook, you don't get nothing extra.

Let's do the maths!

Example:                                           For 10%                                    For 100%

Ebook of 10 pages     Before 2 dollars    then 1.30 dolars     now 0.1 cents
Ebook of 80 pages     Before 2 dollars    then 1.30 dolars     now 0.8 cents
Ebook of 100 pages   Before 2 dollars    then 1.30 dolars     now 1 dollar
Ebook of  130 pages  Before 2 dollars    then 1.30 dolars     now 1.30 dollars
Ebook of 200 pages   Before 2 dollars    then 1.30 dolars     now 2 dollars

So unless you write ebooks of 200 pages or more you are losing money.

So publish with other retailers. KENP exclusivity is not worth it.

To sum it up, Amazon win more (almost 10 dollars per client) and writers less and less for their work, efforts and loyalty.

That's insustainable.

Pd: If customers know how much his favourite writer get paid per novel, they will feel guilty.
